Illustrated Australian Animals for Wine Labels
A series of colourful and whimsical Australian animal illustrations, combining analogue textures with digital mixed media.
Originally sparked by a brief for a boutique wine label, this project quickly evolved into a standalone showcase of character design and visual storytelling.
The platypus, wombat, koala, frill-neck lizard, cockatoo, kangaroo, echidna, emu and crocodile characters reflect my love and respect for Australia’s distinctive native wildlife, while playfully exaggerating their behaviours and characteristics to create humorous and bold personalities.
