Leanne Bock is an independent graphic designer and illustrator known for work that blends tactile, hand-crafted sensibilities with refined contemporary design systems.

With over two decades of international experience across the UK, France, Latin America and Australia, Leanne works across illustration, publication design and high-end retouching, primarily for publishers, cultural institutions and heritage-led brands.

Her illustration work includes commissions for international publishers Thames & Hudson (Play with Matisse art activity set) and Laurence King Publishing (The Wild Bunch card game). She created the illustrated Percy the Pygmy Possum mascot for the Tasmanian Department of Education Early Years Coalition, creatively directed and illustrated an official music video for South Korean indie pop artist Summer Soul, and has sold art prints worldwide — including through Australian design outlets — under the pseudonym Le Riquiqui.

Recent design projects include the visual identity and packaging of Mungalli Creek Dairy; a comprehensive medical guide on muscle spasticity for Epworth Healthcare; and the annual Live Proud magazines for Frasers Property Australia, among other print-led production projects.

Leanne also provides high-end retouching for heritage British brands, including Soane Britain and Aspinal of London, guided by a commitment to preserving craftsmanship in an increasingly mass-produced, digital world.

Fluent in Spanish, with intermediate French, and based in Naarm/Melbourne, Leanne holds a Master’s in Contemporary Art (2021), a Graduate Certificate in Visual Art (2019), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication Design (2001). Alongside her design practice, she maintains an active visual art practice, exhibiting and undertaking residencies locally and internationally.
