Leanne Bock is an independent graphic designer and illustrator based in Naarm/Melbourne, offering bespoke services in print and digital for local and international clients.


With a career spanning more than two decades in Australia, the UK, France, and Latin America, working in design studios, advertising agencies and independently, Leanne’s specialised skillset comprises illustration, publication design and high-end retouching.

Leanne’s illustrations have been published internationally by Thames & Hudson and Lawrence King Publishing. She created Percy the Pygmy Possum mascot for the Tasmanian Department of Education Early Years Coalition, creatively directed and illustrated an official music video for South Korean indie pop artist Summer Soul, and has sold art prints worldwide and at Australian design outlets under the pseudonym Le Riquiqui.

Recent design work includes the visual identity and product packaging for Mungalli Creek Dairy; a comprehensive muscle spasticity medical guide for Epworth Healthcare; and annual Live Proud magazines for Frasers Property Australia, among many other projects.

Leanne provides high-end retouching services for quintessential British brands that preserve craftsmanship and distinctive, skilled design – Soane Britain and Aspinal of London.

Holding a master’s degree in contemporary art (2021), a graduate certificate in visual art (2019), and a bachelor’s degree in communication design (2001), Leanne maintains fluency in Spanish and is an active visual artist, exhibiting and attending residencies both locally and abroad.


Leanne acknowledges the Wurundjeri Woiwurrung People of the Kulin Nation as sovereign custodians of the land she lives and works on and extends respects to all First Nations people.
