Limited Edition Riso Fine Art Prints – Illustration + Printmaking
A series of minimalist, fine art risograph prints, created under the pseudonym Le Riquiqui. The prints were self-published at The Rizzeria workshop in Marrickville, Sydney. Printed with soy oil based inks on acid-free, 100% recycled paper (250gsm). Editions of 18 to 45, numbered and signed in pencil.
The prints were sold separately, worldwide via the Le Riquiqui online shop and at select Australian design outlets.
A bit about riso: the Risograph machine was first manufactured in Japan in the 80s, initially designed to work as a high volume photocopier and printer. It produces a handcrafted result – resembling a charismatic cross between screen printing and photocopying, often creating imperfections in the form of shadows, creases and offsets.
